Two days set up and five days Anti-Substance Abuse PR campaign in TAR University College. First of all, we would like to take this opportunity to thanks TAR University College for providing us the space and also Faculty of Social Science, Arts and Humanities for offering us this subject, PR Campaign, Planning and Management which taught us to organize a campaign by ourselves. Not to forget our Public Relations project supervisor, Miss Lim Siz Siz, million thanks for guiding us from A to Z to organize this campaign. Without her guidance since day one of this event, we would not know what we have done wrong and thanks for her advice because that is how we improve everything from planning to execution.
Apart from that, we would also
like to take this opportunity to thanks our supportive sponsor such as Yeo’s
Hup Seng who has provided us 64 cartons which is 1,536 cans of Yeo’s
Blackcurrant H-Two-O isotonic drink for our Beer Bottle like PR stunt which was
one of our main attractions in the campaign, mainly to take down every cans by
donating RM2 to show their support in demolishing the beer bottle like PR stunt
which also symbolizes to stop alcohol abuse.
Secondly, we would also like to
thanks MBO Cinemas for supporting this campaign by providing us cinema halls on
27th July and 28th July 2013 and to screen back an old
movie which was released in March 2013- Snitch. The reason we chose Snitch is
because it is related to our campaign which is about the substance abuse and
showing how a father sacrificed to save his son after being accused for possessing
drugs which is an opportunity for the audience to get to know what are the
impact of substance abuse whether on themselves or someone close to them
especially parents and most importantly don’t ever step into the so called
‘Zombie’ world (Drugs world). Therefore, thanks MBO Cinemas for giving us an
opportunity to show the audiences visually about impacts of substance abuse.
Not to forget, we would also like
to thanks Chialat Printing who has supported us in every printing material such
as banner, posters, flyers and others and last but not least, Pathlab for the
health screening voucher to be distributed out during our campaign.
The event has finally come to an
end, once again, thanks every one of you who has participated and supported us
throughout this event.
